Privacy policy

PassportLog (“we”, “us”) is a travel-log website at passportlog.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control it.

What we collect

• Account. When you sign in with Google we receive your Google user id, name, email, and (if you have one) profile photo. We do not receive your Google password.
• Passport. Your chosen handle, display name, public or private setting, optional country and date of birth, and the UN countries you mark as visited. Join date is the moment you claimed a handle.
• Photo. A custom or copied Google photo may be stored on our CDN (Cloudflare R2) so it loads from cdn.passportlog.com.
• Technical. A session cookie after you sign in. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may process standard request logs (IP, user agent, URL) to keep the service running.

How we use it

To run your account, show your public page (if you keep it public), rank public passports on the leaderboard, keep the site secure, and — only if you agree — measure traffic and advertise PassportLog.

Analytics and ads

We load Google Tag Manager, which can run Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads tags. Those tools use cookies or similar identifiers. Your sign-in session cookie is required for the account to work.

Who we share with

We do not sell your personal data. Processors that help us run the product: Google (sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting, database, images), and Google Analytics / Ads via Tag Manager. Public profiles and the public leaderboard are visible to anyone with the link, including search engines.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. If you want it deleted, email hello@passportlog.com from the address on the account and we will remove your handle, visits, aliases and stored photo.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may ask for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, or object to marketing. Email hello@passportlog.com. You can also make your profile private, clear your date of birth, or remove your photo in Settings.

Children

PassportLog is not directed at children under 16. Do not create an account if you are under that age.

Changes

We will update this page if the product changes in a material way. The date at the top is the latest version.
